Dear Friends
Like the closed down (but still creative) shop window of Top Shop I saw on an early morning walk recently, I need to create some blank space and step back from blogging here for a while.
Think of it as a holiday, a rest, a weekend off. I am not quitting or leaving forever.
I just need to give some time to the projects that have started gleaming at me from the corner of my eye.
Plus I am still in mourning.
If you are new to this blog, there are plenty of things to stumble across in my archives – like this series of Year of Living Deeply posts I had completely forgotten about. Or the ever-amazing (even if I say so myself) Lifesaving Poems series. What gems are hidden there!
Or you could click on my Books page and buy some of them. Just a hint. (Not all of you, just some of you would be nice. Arf, wink emoji, etc.)
I continue to be grateful for and amazed by your support.
But for now I need to stare into some (non-screen-related) blank space for a bit. I know you understand.
With love and best wishes to all of you
Anthony
Fare well in the blank space.
Think I’m working up to seeking some myself.

Good choice…it’s only in the blank spaces that new things come…

I’m interpreting (part of) this post as uplifting news – the fact that you have wind in your sails. Maybe some of us can use this moment as a spur to “do something” interesting before you get back to blogging again – I have my own website to rebuild after my host lost the entire site and the backups during a business take-over, a site that I had worked on for 13 years! I’m a physicist and don’t believe in magic but there is nothing more magical than creating something from nothing on a blank page using only your imagination and experience; enjoy the process/journey/battle!

I’ve only just started to stumble across your archives and enjoying the experience. So thank you for that. I hope you find the time away useful. As a Zen loving friend of mine often says, “Take more time to cover less ground”.
God bless you loads
