The Anti-Refugee Bill explained

Happy new year, everyone.

I am interrupting my current series of Lifesaving Lines post to encourage you to watch a video produced by Freedom From Torture about the Nationality and Borders Bill (aka the Anti-Refugee Bill) which returned to Parliament in the House of Lords last week.

If you are a reading this in the UK, please can I ask you – urge you – to write to your MP and explain your opposition to this pernicious, and possibly illegal, legislation.

If this is not possible for you, please can you share this video, created by Freedom From Torture, instead.

Here is a summary of why this bill is so inhumane.
