The third Writing Research Across Borders conference takes place this week in Paris.
I will be presenting a poster of my research into Teachers’ Views of Creativity in Poetry Writing, a copy of which you can download here.
You can download the full paper here: Teachers’ Views of Creativity (Wilson, 2013).
If you are going to the conference and are interested in talking about poetry, creative literacy pedagogy, or creative writing, I would love to see you.
Poster presentations are on Thursday (2.15-3.15) and Friday (4.30-5.30).

I am a lecturer, poet and writing tutor. I work in teacher and medical education at the University of Exeter. My anthology Lifesaving Poems was published by Bloodaxe Books in 2015. In 2012 I published Riddance (Worple Press), a collection of poems, and Love for Now (Impress Books), a memoir, about my experience of cancer. The Wind and the Rain, my sixth collection of poems, was published in 2023 by Blue Diode Press. Plymbridge, a new pamphlet, is available now from Worple Press. My current research project, funded by the Foyle Foundation, is Young Poets' Stories: https://youngpoetsstories.com/. This blog is archived by the British Library.

If I still lived in Paris, yes, why not going? Enjoy the conference. I enjoyed to see the cover of Anne Lamott’s book. One of the best on the topic.
